Teachers Group Educational Trust

A registered charity with a main objective to advance education of the public through making grants available to promote education both in the UK and overseas. As our slogan says, we believe that lives can be changed through education. The Trust focuses on schemes which assist helping youngsters between 4 and 19 years old - particularly those from a disadvantaged background. It also looks to support initiatives that can be developed into programmes capable of application across the wider education arena. The Trustees have chosen in particular to seek opportunities to support projects from which a wider public benefit may accrue. It has two strategic partners, The Steve Sinnott Foundation and SHINE, both of which are also registered charities. In addition to the grants to the strategic partners a number of smaller grants to other projects are made.
